choco-licious!

I buy each year now, and present as special gifts to family and loved ones. They are just the right size to use as place settings! Not sure if I prefer chocolate turkeys to the real thing, but I would hate to have to choose!

Packaging not as nice

The chocolate is good, but these don't look so great because the bow is so low that you can't tell what's inside if you use them as a place setting, this is just a little bit of a problem. Also, I didn't like the bow that had bissinger's name on it as much as the plain one. And did they used to be on a little gold square? All in all, they just didn't seem as special as they used to.

Thanksgiving

The turkeys were chocolate and terrific …. I ordered on line 2 weeks early for mySTL family and out of state relatives and their treats arrived in 2 days , by contrast “ because of issues with production , local some deliveries where delayed “ mine were NS ,panic set in 2 days before thanksgiving as I liked at the UPS tracking that was going no where and without phone calls and 3 lovely people being kind my turkeys wouldn’t have arrived until after thanksgiving and I was assured that I wouldn’t be able to return them ,however a lovely gentleman drive them over ( 24 small turkeys and one big one ) 2 hours before our 15 relatives arrived , with the UPS sticker on the boxes from 2 weeks previous . “ humans “ prevail over “ the system “ and we were all very grateful
Next time I won’t order my chocolate for STL on line
